Standing up for Parks and Public Lands

This event is part of the Center for Western Priorities’ Keep Parks Public campaign, the National Parks Conservation Association’s Protect Every Park campaign, and the Grand Valley Outdoor Recreation Coalition’s Campfire Sessions.

Join us for a live podcast taping about national public lands at Gemini Beer Company on Friday, August 22, from 5:30 to 8:30 pm!

This unique gathering will bring together public land advocates, former National Park Service leaders, and local voices to spotlight the importance of keeping our parks public and resisting harmful rollbacks and policies threatening our shared lands.

We’ve assembled an expert panel including Ken Mabery, former superintendent of Colorado National Monument, Tracy Coppola with the National Parks Conservation Association, and more to be announced soon. Kate Groetzinger with the Center for Western Priorities will moderate the discussion.

The taped panel discussion will begin promptly at 6 p.m. and go until 7 p.m.

This event will also feature live music by Ian Janco, before and after the panel, discounted libations courtesy of Gemini Brewing, and a birthday sheetcake celebrating the 109th year of the National Park Service.

Before and after the panel, you’ll have the chance to visit with representatives from conservation groups to learn more about fighting back against attacks on our public lands.

RSVP and invite a friend who loves public lands! Drinks will be available for purchase.

By signing up for this event, your email address will be shared with the groups represented on the panel. You can unsubscribe at any time.
