Wyoming’s public lands under threat
Thursday, September 4, 2025
1:00 PM - 2:00 PM
Teton County Public Library
In partnership with the Jackson Hole Conservation Alliance, Keep Parks Public hosted a public gathering and press conference about national public lands and the threats they face. We discussed a congressional field hearing in Grand Teton National Park aimed at “modernizing” the Great American Outdoors Act, a bipartisan achievement that became law in 2020. We brought together a group of Wyoming public lands all-stars, including Peggie dePasquale, former USFS wilderness ranger who was fired by the Trump administration, and Jenny Fitzgerald with the Jackson Hole Conservation Alliance.
